Collaborations x Teamwork
Like so many things we cannot walk this life alone. I believe in the power of collaboration both within and beyond your local community. One of the most impactful methods to owning or managing a small business is mindful collaboration. I have been fortunate to team-up with many organizations large and small in Kansas City including Emily Cox Wellness, Crossroads Hotel KC, Daddy's Hair Care, Integrity Esthetics, Quixotic Fusion, Fire & Flow Podcast by Ellie Berland, Hotel Kansas City, NOMADA, etc.

Crossroads Hotel KC
"where Kansas City comes together"
every month I teach a pop-up HEELS dance class event at the Crossroads Hotel to bring the feminine community together to express and expand on confidence, sensuality and community
classes are 2 hours long where we set an intention, warm-up and stretch, across the floor and choreography training. the class always ends with a pop of some bubbles (or water) and cheers to life. all guests are welcome to stay for food and drinks in the stunning lobby restaurant and bar of the Crossroads Hotel, XR

Daddy's Hair Care
Amidst my young walk of business ownership I met an amazing component of the hair industry. Emily Freeman is the founder of @daddyshaircare and currently works out of Salon Gratto in North Kansas City. She is a hair stylist that specializes in color, hence my opportunity to collaborate for an even bolder and unique peach vibe. Daddy's Hair Care is both a woman-owned small business with exceptional tact, taste and talent.

Integrity Esthetics
Integrity Esthetics is another woman-owned business that has been a major supporter of what I do in Kansas City. Tiffany Irons is an esthetician that specializes in facials, waxing and lashes. Tiffany created her own skincare line including SPF which is an often forgotten element of skincare. The integrity behind her work focuses on clean yet effective skincare. She has been providing all three of these esthetic necessities to myself and many of my fellow business owning friends for more than 7 years now. Her business is now located in the collaborative hub of Kansas City, Sola Salons, Crossroads location.

Manual Ware by Damon Stevens
a note from the designer ...
"my name is Damon Stevens. I am a designer, maker, builder, and I enjoy making thigns our of skateboards. I grew up skateboarding with my friends and it was my way of connecting to like-minded indivduals in my local community. Skateboarding taught me how to fall, get back up and try again.
My gaol is to combine upcycled and recycled skateboards with metals and plastics to show how we can create beautiful products with common everyday materials. Through the combination of these materials, I believe I can show others in my community how to view simple materials with an ever-expanding perspective."

Kansas City Microblading
This is a Kansas City based woman-owned and woman-run business based in the Crossroads. Kylie is an outstanding brow technician who found me as a collaborator to advance the feminine community of Kansas City through confidence building in uniquely different ways. My first appointment with Kylie she spoke of how empowering it can be to provide women with natural and everyday looks like do not require make-up application. There is a psychology and intelligence behind these choices. We both want to bring sustainable and consistence confidence to the everyday woman through intentionality and long-lasting choices. I feel ever connected to this amazing and beautiful human.
Outside of her incredible personality and business vision, Kylie is an outstanding brow technician. Her professionalism comes with ease and in a circumstance that one is getting semi-permanent brows she is confident, calm and informative. I felt safe, welcome and excited about my services and would highly recommend 10/10 for Kansas City Microblading.
